Enter the Oshawa campus from Simcoe Street North at Commencement Drive. Parking is free in the Commencement lot. Follow the signage to the event entrance, at the Gordon Willey building.

Arriving by bus? Follow the directional signs to the event entrance at the Gordon Willey Building. If you enter through another door, please find someone in a green DC shirt who can direct you to the main entrance for check-in.

CHECK-IN EARLY AND BEAT THE LINE

Registrants will receive an email with a unique QR code before the event. You can complete the pre-event check-in or present your unique QR code at the door.

1. Check out the APPLY NOW ROOM to learn more about the application process. Apply today, and we’ll cover the application fee (a $150 value), plus you’ll get DC swag!
2. Chat with a FACULTY BOOTH to ask a question about your program of interest.
3. Stop by a STUDENT SERVICE BOOTH (e.g. Financial Aid and Awards, Access and Support Centre, Admissions and more).
4. Head to a PROGRAM BREAKOUT ROOM to meet your future teachers.
5. Take a GUIDED WALKING TOUR of our campus.
6. Visit the ADMISSIONS BOOTH to ask about admissions requirements for programs you’re interested in, confirm your offer of admission at the event, and get free DC swag!
7. Pick up some DC gear at the CAMPUS STORE and save 15%.
8. Bring your TRANSCRIPT to the TRANSFER SERVICES booth and get a free GNED credit assessment!

ACCESS AND SUPPORT CONSULTATIONS

The Access and Support Centre provides confidential services to students who are temporarily at-risk or identify with an exceptionality, to ensure equal access to all aspects of the academic environment. Did you have an IEP in high school? Meet one-on-one with our team to learn about the types of supports that can help you be successful in your DC program.

FINANCIAL AID CONSULTATIONS

Visit Financial Aid and Awards to learn about the various options to fund your post-secondary education, such as bursaries, awards, scholarships and on-campus employment programs. DC financial aid coaches are available for one-on-one discussions about your financial situation and to provide guidance that will help you manage the costs of attending college with confidence.

Transcript Assessments

Bring your high school transcript to Program Information Night, and our Transfer Services team will provide a free GNED assessment to ensure you’re ready for your program of choice.
