Campus-ID/U-Pass Ready for your Durham College (DC) journey? Here’s what you’ll need in your digital DC wallet. UNIVERSAL TRANSIT PASS (U-PASS) The U-PASS program provides students with unlimited travel each semester on Durham Region Transit (DRT) and is paid for through ancillary fees for the academic year for all eligible, full-time students. A Durham Region Transit U-PASS is available to students registered to full-time post-secondary programs via the PRESTO E-Tickets mobile app. Each semester, you will receive access to a digital PRESTO E-Ticket. An email will be sent to your DC Mail account, titled: PRESTO - E-Ticket(s) - Have been sent to you! (from sender: noreply@bytemark.co). How to access your digital U-PASS Download the PRESTO E-Ticket app for free to your smartphone from the App Store or Google Play Store. Create your account using your @dcmail.ca email address. NOTE: You must create a new account using your DC Mail email address to use your U-PASS, even if you already have an existing PRESTO account. This is how you will receive the digital U-PASS in your account. Activate your PRESTO E-Ticket before you ride. The digital U-PASS will appear in the “Available” folder in your PRESTO E-Ticket app when it is forwarded to you by your post-secondary institution at the start of the semester. To activate: Select E-Ticket. Select “Yes” on prompt. Go to the “Active” Tab – your activated U-PASS should show up there. Show and tap your PRESTO E-Ticket: Show the DRT operator your activated U-PASS E-Ticket when you board and tap the screen on your smartphone to change the colour and show the operator it is valid. Please note that the operator may also ask you to present your student ID card as proof of eligibility. Remember that your digital U-PASS is non-transferrable and valid for travel on DRT services only. Important to note: You’re required to display and tap this digital E-Ticket each time you board DRT. The U-PASS can only be downloaded on a single device. Ensure that you download the E-Tickets app on the mobile device that you’ll be using during daily travel. If you don’t have a mobile device, contact DC-UPASS@durhamcollege.ca for further assistance. Passes will be released on a per semester basis. You’ll receive an email each semester that you’re eligible for, prompting you to access your new pass through your PRESTO E-Ticket app. If a student withdraws from full-time studies by the 100% refund deadline of September 20, their U-PASS access will be removed. ONECARD STUDENT ID DC has a new digital student ID card system called OneCard. All students are required to have a student ID, as it is needed to gain access to buildings. To set up your OneCard, please follow the below instructions: Download the TouchNet OneCard app from the App Store or Google Play. If you accept the end user license agreement, tap “I agree” and continue. Search for and select Durham College. Select OK to be redirected to the Durham College login page.
