Sleep

Sleep is important for a number of reasons.

It restores our energy, strengthens our immune system by fighting off illness and fatigue, helps us think more clearly and creatively, and improves memory, mood and performance throughout the day. Sleep isn’t just a passive activity – it is an active and dynamic process that is vital for normal motor and cognitive function.

While people often say eight hours of sleep per night is a healthy goal, developing a healthy sleep routine can be complex. A good night’s rest requires a combination of enough hours of sleep plus a good quality of our sleep cycle.
