Our services Mentorship: A broad spectrum of mentorship services, including but not limited to individual, peer, and group mentoring. Students can connect confidentially with a one-to-one support coordinator to discuss concerns and success strategies during their transition to post-secondary. RISE group mentoring holds safe spaces for students part of an equity-seeking group. It is an opportunity for individuals to connect and debrief with those who share similar lived experiences in a supportive environment. Service Navigation: Directs and provides referrals to designated Durham College services valuable to student success, such as the Student Academic Learning Centre, Financial planning/ Counselling, Career Development, and the Health and Wellness Centre. Outreach and Partnerships: Collaborates with community partners and agencies to help create and strengthen pathways for students from underrepresented communities.
