SCHOOL WITHIN A COLLEGE PROGRAM – CENTRE FOR SUCCESS Students attend Durham College for a full semester of their high school program where they can earn secondary school credits with a secondary school teacher and earn college credits taught by our college professors. Program supports through Durham College include; academic advising and assistance with college applications. ADULT DUAL CREDIT PROGRAM The Adult Dual Credit Program assists adult learners in the completion of their Ontario Secondary School Diploma and leads to successful transition to a college or apprenticeship program. Students accepted to the program will take a college course taught by a Durham College faculty member and will work with a Continuing Education teacher to complete their high school graduation requirements. Program supports through Durham College include; academic advising and assistance with college applications. COLLEGE-DELIVERED DUAL CREDITS Students can participate in college-delivered dual credits at alternative secondary school sites, summer school or through regional dual credit programs offered at the partnering school boards. TEAM-TAUGHT DUAL CREDITS Students can participate in team-taught dual credits at many secondary schools in the partnering school boards. ONTARIO YOUTH APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM DUAL CREDITS Students can receive their level one apprenticeship training. Visit the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship website for more information. Registrations Students may enter dual credit program in a variety of ways. Students in SHSM programs and OYAP are automatically eligible to take dual credit programs. Entry for all other students is guided by Student Success teams at the high school or board level.
