International Summer Employment International Summer Employment ** Please note: All international funded positions for the 25/26 academic year have been filled and the International Summer Employment program application via MyDC is closed ** The International Summer Employment program allows eligible international students who are returning to studies in the fall to work full-time hours from May to August of each academic year. Students work a maximum of 35 hours per week as part of this program. Eligibility Be an international student holding a valid Study Permit Be able to obtain a Social Insurance Number (Studying and working in Canada as an international student) Be enrolled as a full-time student in the fall and winter semesters preceding the summer employment period Be returning to full-time studies in the fall semester following the summer employment period Have a GPA of 1.50 or higher in the Winter semester preceding the program start Application Process Apply via MyDC Application launches at the end of January each year Apply Now
