Summer Employment Program

The Summer Employment program allows domestic students who are returning to studies in the fall semester to work full-time hours from May to August of each academic year. This program is available for eligible domestic students. Students are able to work a maximum of 35 hours per week as part of this program.

Eligibility

  • Be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident and meet the Ontario Residency requirements as defined by OSAP
  • Be an OSAP recipient or have a demonstrated a financial need
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student in the fall and winter semesters preceding the summer employment period
  • Be returning to full-time studies in the fall semester following the summer employment period
  • Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher in the Winter semester preceding the program start
