    Ready to apply to a full-time DC program? Members of our Start at DC Team will take you through the application process step-by-step and answer all of your questions. They’ll tell you everything you need to know about the application process and what to expect once you’ve applied. If you apply for your program at Open House, we’ll waive your $125 application free. Plus, you’ll take home some DC swag!

    COSMETICS/ESTHETICS DEMONSTRATIONS - Centre for Collaborative Education (CFCE) 213/214, drop-in any time between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    Are you passionate about the beauty and cosmetics industry? Our talented faculty members will showcase the techniques you’ll learn as you prepare for your career.

    EXERCISE IS MEDICINE 101 - G110, drop-in any time between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    Are you a fitness buff? Do you want to learn about the human body? Faculty and students from the Fitness and Health Promotion program will guide you through demonstrations of a typical fitness assessment testing battery and an exercise training program inside our state-of-the-art fitness labs. Experience the newest exercise equipment including a variety of wearable and interactive technologies to better fitness.

    PARAMEDIC PROGRAM DEMONSTRATION - JW104, drop-in any time between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

    Curious about the fast-paced world of emergency medical services? Join us and witness the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in this crucial field. Our experienced faculty and passionate students will demonstrate simulated emergency scenarios, offering a glimpse into the highly skilled work of paramedics. You will also learn about our unique Emergency Services Fundamentals certificate program, which provides transferable credits to several DC first responder programs.

    Once you become a student at DC, there are important steps to take before you enter the classroom. Join us to walk through your next steps and what you need to know before you go! We will discuss tuition payment options, class registration, obtaining verification letters, important dates and deadlines, and all the other ways we can assist you during your time at DC, and even after graduation.

    Have you completed previous post-secondary education and are looking to transfer to Durham College? Join us for an information session to learn more about the credit transfer and PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) processes and the resources available to assist you in your transition to DC. You’ll also learn about the opportunities to transfer from DC and beyond.

    Mixed Reality Capture (MRC) Studio - CIR 101B and CIR101C

    Visit our capture studio and learn about the design and implementation of 3D assets into virtual and augmented reality, video games and other screen-based interfaces. See how our centre is supporting local businesses and engaging students in applied research.

    AI Hub: Discover opportunities to make AI a key part of your DC experience - CIR 115

    The AI Hub is where students, faculty and industry come together to bring artificial intelligence to life. Visit us to learn more about how you can gain real-world, hands-on experience building the AI solutions of the future as part of your DC educational experience.     Free parking is available at all of our locations during the event. Enter the Oshawa campus at the Commencement Drive entrance off Simcoe Street North. Turn left onto Founders Drive and make your way towards the Commencement Parking Lot. Follow the directional signs towards the event entrance at the SW wing.
