WHAT Parking permit sales for the spring/summer semester are available on IPASS for both Oshawa and Whitby campuses. DATE Wednesday, April 5 DETAILS If you are a current annual parking pass holder, no action is required. If you are current winter semester pass holder in a gated lot: You can extend your current pass to cover the spring/summer semester through IPASS by entering your existing access card number. Modify your user name to access IPASS and re-register for spring/summer 2023 semester. (Example: Current user name “DCLORDS” modify to “DCLORDS2023”). Ensure the activation date on your IPASS application indicates May 1, 2023. As a reminder, winter semester pass will expire on Sunday, April 30, 2022. If you are a current winter semester pass holder in a hang tag lot: You can obtain a spring/summer semester hang tag through IPASS. When you arrive on campus, visit the Parking office to pick up the new hang tag. Ensure the activation date on your IPASS application indicates May 1, 2023. As a reminder, your winter semester hang tag will expire on Sunday, April 30, 2023. If you do not have a winter parking pass: You can purchase a spring/summer semester pass online through IPASS. When registering, you must use your @dcmail.ca email address. Ensure the activation date on your IPASS application indicates May 1, 2023. Payment for parking permits can be made through the IPASS website, either by credit card or pre-authorized payment. After completing the registration, an email will be sent within 24 to 48 hours from IPASS. Initial access cards will be provided at no charge. Replacement cards can be requested for $25. Pick up your access card or hang tag prior to Friday, April 28, 2023 at either the Parking office in the Gordon Willey building at the Oshawa campus or the Main building at the Whitby campus between Monday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration troubleshooting: If you receive a disapproval email, please re-submit the parking request through IPASS making the appropriate correction (DC email, correct banking information or choosing a different lot). For questions specific to the IPASS registration website, please see the FAQ link or email contact link in the email response from IPASS.IPASS will respond to all queries submitted through this portal within 24 to 48 business hours. The new system allows you to visually review all block timetable options, and will be ready for spring/summer registration on April 3. Also new this spring, you now just need one password for everything you do at DC!
