The Durham College Alumni Association (DCAA) Board of Directors invites applications from the alumni membership to serve in a voluntary capacity as a Board Director. There are a total of four openings on the Board available beginning September 2026, as follows: One, three-year term position Two, two-year term positions One, one year-term position With a growing network of more than 120,000 Durham College (DC) graduates, the DCAA is represented by a Board of Directors comprised of twelve elected representatives from its membership. Board Directors support and encourage DCAA members to stay connected by inspiring collaboration, engagement, giving, and a commitment to success for future generations. This is an exciting time to become involved with the DCAA Board as we have recently launched a new five-year Strategic Plan. As a Board member, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape the direction of the association, strengthen alumni connections, and contribute to the future of the Durham College alumni community. The DCAA Board of Directors strives to maintain a balanced representation of the diverse alumni community from each of the college’s Academic Faculties. All applications from eligible alumni members will be considered based on the skills, experience, and competencies needed on the Board. However, preference will be given to candidates who are graduates of the following Faculties to help address current gaps in Board representation: Health Sciences Skilled Trades and Apprenticeship A nominee for Board Director, at the time of application for nomination, must be an alumni member as defined in the DCAA Constitution dated September 15, 2021, Article 5.02, in good standing as determined by the current Board.
