July 22 - July 24, 2025 Web registration opens for Fall semester one students – starting a new program
July 25 - 29, 2025 Web registration opens for Fall second-year students continuing same program
July 30, 2025 Web registration opens for Fall third-year students - continuing same program
August 4, 2025 Civic Holiday
August 6, 2025 Fall semester payment deadline students (new domestic and returning domestic and international)
August 25, 2025 Full-time students may process timetable changes (add/drop) through MyDC beginning at 4:00 p.m.
August 26 - 28, 2025 Academic Welcome - Oshawa Campus
August 27, 2025 Registration for part-time students begins
August 28, 2025 International Student Welcome - Oshawa Campus
August 29, 2025 Academic Welcome - Whitby Campus

September 2, 2025 Day 1 - Classes begin for postsecondary students.  Students taking programs through FLEX delivery, your first day of classes is shown on your schedule.
September 8, 2025 Day 5 - Last day for program registration, program changes and course additions
September 15, 2025 Day 10 - Last day for full-time students to withdraw (domestic students less $500 non-refundable deposit) or drop to part-time status with a refund of semester fees
September 15, 2025 Day 10 - Last day to submit a Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) or credit transfer
September 29, 2025 Last day for withdrawal from a course with no academic record; courses dropped after this date will be recorded on the academic transcript with a “W” to indicate withdrawal
October 13, 2025 Thanksgiving
October 20 – 24, 2025 Reading week for post-secondary students only
October 21, 2025 Official midterm grades are due through DC connect by 12:00 p.m.
October 21, 2025 Official midterm grades are available to view electronically on MyDC as of 4:00 p.m.
October 29, 2025 Official Fall Graduation Date
October 29 - 30, 2025 Fall Convocation Ceremonies
November 17, 2025 Last day to withdraw from a course with a “W”; after this date, all courses will be graded and recorded on the academic transcript
December 12, 2025 Last day of classes for most programs
December 16, 2025 Official final grades due through DC connect by 12:00 p.m.
December 17, 2025 Official final grades are available to view electronically on MyDC as of 4:00 p.m.
December 24, 2025 – January 4, 2026 Holiday break - the school is closed during these days - (re-open Monday, January 5, 2026)
