International student orientation is mandatory, and is the best way to start your journey at Durham College.

International Student Orientation (ISO) consists of two parts:

  1. ISO online mini modules covering important topics like immigration, arriving in Canada, health insurance and more.
  2. ISO general session, an in-person event where you will get to know your fellow international students from around the world and get important information to set you off to a great semester

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION (general Session), Friday, January 5, 2024 at 9:30 am, est.

Register by January 4, 2024 here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with more information about the session.

Complete ISO online mini modules by January 7, 2024. Here’s how to access the modules:

Access the online mini modules in 3 easy steps:

  • Click on this link:
  • Login with your student number and network password. For details on logging into the network password for the first time, see here.
  • “Winter 2024 - Home@DC International Student Orientation” will be there for you. Click into it and get started!

To be prepared for your studies, and understand your responsibilities as a DC student, it is important to complete the ISO online mini modules through the DC Connect in addition to our mandatory, in-person International Student Orientation.

Also, your program orientation provides a great opportunity for new students to meet faculty and fellow students, and learn about the requirements for your specific program of study. See details here.
