International Students

International Student Orientation (mandatory)

International Student Orientation (ISO) is mandatory, and is the best way to start your journey at Durham College.

ISO consists of two parts:

  1. ISO online mini modules covering important topics like immigration, arriving in Canada, health insurance and more
  2. ISO general session, an in-person event where you will get to know your fellow international students from around the world and get important information to set you off to a great semester

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION (general session), TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2022 AT 9 AM, EST.

Register by September 4, 2022 here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with more information about the session.

HOME@DC INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATION (online mini modules)

The mini modules will be available at the end of July

Complete ISO online mini modules by Tuesday, September 06, 2022. Here’s how to access the modules:

  • Go to DC Connect.
  • Log in with your student ID number and your network password.
  • The “Fall 2022 Home@DC International Student Orientation” course will be there for you. Click into it and get started!

REMEMBER!

To be prepared for your studies, and understand your responsibilities as a DC student, it is important to complete the ISO online mini modules through the DC Connect in addition to our mandatory, in-person International Student Orientation.

Also, your program orientation provides a great opportunity for new students to meet faculty and fellow students, and learn about the requirements for your specific program of study. See details here.
