Registration

HERE’S HOW TO GET STARTED:

Interested students are invited to complete a Steps to Success (S2S) Academic Assessment in Math and/or English virtually as a starting point. If you are interested in completing the academic assessment to get started with our Academic Upgrading program, the first step is to email academicupgrading@durhamcollege.ca

Writing the assessment provides us the opportunity to determine your skills and knowledge in these subject areas and helps us to create a personalized education plan to help you reach your goals. How much formal education you have completed doesn’t matter. In fact, the assessment is a great opportunity to reflect all types of learning from life experiences, work experiences, as well as formal education. This assessment was developed by the Faculty who teach our courses and is designed to inform us about how we can best place you within our program.

Once your assessment has been submitted, instructors of the course will grade the assessment and a staff member will follow up with you via email or telephone to provide you with the results of your assessment and create a personalized learning plan, complete the registration paperwork and assist you with logging into your online course(s).
