You can now sign in other services such as MYDC, CAMPUS-AIR WiFi, etc using your student ID and updated network password. When Will My Network Account be Ready? FULL-TIME STUDENTS Go here to obtain your DC email address. Use your student ID as your username. Your temporary password is your date of birth in the MMDDYY format (for example, if your birthday is June 3, 2005, your password is 060305). PROFESSIONAL PART-TIME LEARNING (PPL) STUDENTS A welcome email was sent to your personal email address. It contains your sign-in credentials and DC email account information. Refer to your welcome email for more information. DUAL-CREDIT STUDENTS Contact your teacher to obtain your email address and temporary password. APPRENTICESHIP STUDENTS Go here to obtain your DC email address. Use your student ID as your username. Your temporary password is your date of birth in the MMDDYY format (for example, if your birthday is June 3, 2005, your password is 060305). FIRST-TIME LOGIN Step 1 Go to www.dcmail.ca and sign in using your DC email account. Click Next. Your temporary network password is your date of birth in the MMDDYY format (6 digits only). For example, if you were born on July 21, 2002, your password will be 072102. During your first-time login, you will be prompted to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Follow the prompts to complete MFA set-up. Once complete, you will be prompted to update your network password. MFA Setup Set up Microsoft Authenticator Signing in for the first time using your phone: Install Microsoft Authenticator Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone from the App Store or Google Play. The app logo should look like this: Once the app is installed, open your phone browser go to www.dcmail.ca. You will be directed to the sign-in page. Enter your DC email address and click Next Enter your temporary password and click Sign in You will be directed to the “Let’s keep your account secure” page. Click Next. On the next page, click Next After clicking Next, select “Pair your account to the app by clicking this link.” A pop-up window will appear after selecting the “Pair…” . Click Open to launch Microsoft Authenticator. The appwill sync your profile with Microsoft Authenticator. Return to your phone browser and click Next. A two-digit code will appear in your phone browser, along with a prompt to enter the same number in Microsoft Authenticator. Once you have authenticated, you will be prompted to update your password. After updating your password,click Sign in. You should now see your Inbox. Reset network password Important: To use the self-service password reset tool, you must have previously enrolled in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). If MFA has not been set up on your account, or if you no longer have access to your registered MFA device or authentication method, the IT Service Desk will need to verify your identity before assisting with a password reset.
