ASC counsellors provide disability related counselling to support students in understanding their learning profile as it relates to academic strengths and needs, vocational planning. DCSA Support Hub The counsellors at The Support Hub are registered under the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Appointments are recommended for counselling, however, walk-ins and immediate virtual appointments are accepted if staff are available at that time. Areas that they counsel include addictions, LGBTQ+ support, healthy and unhealthy relationships, past or present abuse, mental health issues, personal coping strategies, goal planning, anxiety, depression, poverty, homelessness, & family issues.
