Tuition Fees Tuition fees are the core investment in your education, covering the costs of your academic program. These fees pay for your courses, faculty instruction, program delivery, and the academic resources that support your learning. They do not include ancillary fees or other costs for your program such as textbooks, supplies, technology, learning materials, or off-campus learning activities. There may be additional program costs. Learn more by visiting Other Fees to Consider. Each year, tuition rates are approved by the Durham College Board of Governors based on the most recent Tuition and ancillary fees policy framework set by the provincial government. Tuition fees are set for each academic year which consists of three semesters: Fall (September to December), Winter (January to April), and Spring (May to August). Full-time rates are based on registration in a full-time course load (70% of planned contact hours for your program). International students are charged a fixed premium over the approved domestic rate. Part-time domestic students pay an hourly rate. Part-time international students pay the domestic hourly rate plus an international premium, per course. Overload charges are applied to students who are taking more than 100% of their semester’s scheduled course hours. These fees are charged at the part-time hourly rate for each hour over the maximum course load. Students will be notified by email if they are assessed overload charges. For the 2025-2026 academic year (September 2025, January 2026, and May 2026 terms), the approved standard tuition rates are: Tuition Rate 2025-2026 Full-Time Tuition Fees (1 semester) 2025-2026 Part Time/Overload Tuition Fees Domestic $1,361.02 $6.30 per billing hour International $1,361.02 plus $6,293.29 premium $6.30 per billing hour plus $1,574.37 premium per course Fees for the 2026-2027 academic year will be posted on this page by May 15, 2026. Note: Some programs are approved to charge higher tuition rates based on high demand and/or highly employable skills, including: 2025 - 2026 Academic Year – Programs with non-standard tuition fees Program Code Program Name Domestic Tuition 2025-26 (1 semester) International Tuition 2025-26 (1 semester) Part-Time Hourly Rate PPC Paramedic $3,855.37 $10,148.65 18.81 HBMH Honours Bachelor of Community Mental Health $3,177.00 $9,470.28 15.47 PADV Paramedic - Advanced Care $8,041.89 $14,335.17 38.65 HBAI Honours Bachelor of Artificial Intelligence $3,177.00 $9,470.28 15.13 HBPL Honours Bachelor of Paralegal $3,277.35 $9,570.63 15.47 GART Game - Art $3,410.37 $9,703.65 15.91 LAW Advanced Law Enforcement and Investigations $1,826.89 $8,120.17 8.52 CTAP Paralegal (graduate certificate) $1,815.07 $8,108.35 8.46 GDES Graphic Design $1,594.23 $7,887.51 7.43 IMWD Interactive Media Design – Web Development $1,594.23 $7,887.51 7.43 SSWK Social Service Worker $1,594.23 $7,887.51 7.43 HVAC Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Techniques $1,680.20 $7,973.48 7.83 CRMD Conflict Resolution and Mediation $1,692.01 $7,985.29 7.88 ADMH Addictions and Mental Health $2,513.04 $8,806.32 11.7 CDA Communicative Disorders Assistant $2,513.04 $8,806.32 11.7 GFIT Gas Technician 2 $1,680.20 $7,973.48 7.82 HURM Human Resources Management $1,776.92 $8,070.20 8.27 MTMW Mechanical Technician - Millwright $1,476.55 $7,769.83 6.87 DAII Dental Assisting (Levels I and II) $1,992.38 $8,285.66 9.27 PNFL Practical Nursing - Flex Program (Weekend delivery) $1,992.38 $8,285.66 9.27 PNIE Practical Nursing - Internationally Educated Nurses $1,992.38 $8,285.66 9.27 PNII Practical Nursing $1,992.38 $8,285.66 9.27 ADMM Advertising - Digital Media Management $2,020.84 $8,314.12 9.4 ACAR Animal Care $1,574.34 $7,867.62 7.32 SBMT Sport Business Management $1,636.14 $7,929.42 7.6 ELEC Electrical Techniques $1,453.44 $7,746.72 6.75 EETN Electrical Engineering Technician $1,453.45 $7,746.73 6.75 PHGR Photography $1,406.16 $7,699.44 6.53 EMCC 911 Emergency and Call Centre Communications $1,549.08 $7,842.36 7.19 VIPR Video Production $1,406.16 $7,699.44 6.52 IMDE Interactive Media Design $1,594.23 $7,887.51 7.39 CMGT Culinary Management $1,423.89 $7,717.17 6.59 CSK Culinary Skills $1,423.89 $7,717.17 6.59 HROM/HROC Hospitality - Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management (Regular and Co-op Streams) $1,423.89 $7,717.17 6.59 HSKL Hospitality Skills $1,423.89 $7,717.17 6.59 ATBS Autism and Behavioural Science $1,361.50 $7,654.78 6.3 BHTN Behavioral Science Technician $1,385.84 $7,679.12 6.3 HBBS Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Science $3,032.50 $9,325.78 13.75 RENO/RENC Carpentry and Renovation Technician (Regular and Co-op Streams) $1,401.75 $7,695.03 6.3 AIDI Artificial Intelligence Analysis, Design and Implementation $1,401.86 $7,695.14 6.3 HBCM Honours Bachelor of Construction Management $3,177.00 $9,470.28 14.07 MTED Mechanical Technician - Elevating Devices $1,433.60 $7,726.88 6.3 HCTM Health Care Technology Management - Honours Bachelor $3,277.35 $9,570.63 13.37 DATA/APDA* Data Analytics for Business Decision Making* $1,798.50 $8,091.78 7.27 PFET/ PFEF* Pre-service Firefighter Education and Training (Regular and Compressed)* $7,271.25 $13,564.53 29.33 PROM* Project Management* $1,817.50 $8,110.78 7.27 FPTY Fire Prevention Technology $1,591.50 $7,884.78 6.3 PSBD Professional Selling and Business Development $1,642.00 $7,935.28 6.3 CBIO Clinical Bioinformatics $2,084.35 $8,377.63 7.63 PBRL Public Relations (Graduate Certificate) $1,860.30 $8,153.58 6.33 ENVF Environmental Technology (Fast-track) $1,886.02 $8,179.30 6.3 CLCP Cloud Computing $3,041.00 $9,334.28 9.65 DENT Dental Hygiene $4,483.95 $10,777.23 13.95 PHRS Pharmaceutical Science $2,538.52 $8,831.80 7.8
