The theme for Black History Month 2022 is February and Forever: Celebrating Black History today and every day. The Black Student Success Network (BSSN), in partnership with the Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (OEDI), invites the DC community to join in programming later this month.

The Library has curated a virtual collection of print and ebooks exploring Black innovations, amplifying Black voices, and honouring Black achievements, ready for you to learn and enjoy. There is also a collection around Anti-Black Racism and White Privilege.

There is also a wide variety of films and documentaries from different streaming platforms that celebrate Black stories:
