Campus partners Durham College and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology raised more than $21,000 through this year’s Power of Pink (POP) Breast Cancer Awareness Day, well-surpassing the cumulative goal of $100,000.

Since its inception eight years ago, POP has raised an incredible $108,674.98. 

Thanks to everyone who got their pink on and came out to support the annual event held on March 7. Funds are directed to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Ontario Chapter and the Durham-based, Gala of Hope.

Participants were treated to a fun-filled day of games, draws and office competitions. Congratulations to everyone for your creativity, enthusiasm and attention to detail in your displays.
