Serving you better: DC launches new student communication strategy Posted on January 14, 2013 at 9:36 am. Durham College is dedicated to ensuring that the student experience comes first. This includes a strong commitment to effective communication with our students as well as the opportunity for them, along with faculty and staff, to offer feedback on our services, facilities and more. As part of that commitment, a new student communication process has been launched comprised of: A Student Communication Reference Chart, available on the college website, that outlines how the college communicates with students (e.g. methods and types of communication) and provides a consistent process for communicating important information to enhance their college experience. DC Cares – new feedback options that enable students to make suggestions and offer feedback online, via MyCampus and email and through drop boxes located in various areas at the Oshawa and Whitby campuses and the Pickering Learning Site. In addition, students are being encouraged to follow the college on Twitter and like us on Facebook in order to ensure they receive the most current notifications and information in the event of an emergency situation on campus.
