On the heels of the successful introduction of Durham College’s Living Green campaign Sustainability Co-ordinator James Webb has been invited to present at DotGreen Community Inc.’s official launch of the DotGreen International Bureau. The event will take place Friday, October 12 through Sunday, October 21. This invite-only event will unveil the DotGreen International Bureau, which will be responsible for the distribution and sales of the .green internet extension. Many high level executives including representatives from Google and Yahoo will be attending and speaking at the week-long conference. On Tuesday, October 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Webb will present details about the college’s sustainability initiatives including the grass roots student Green Team and the collaboration with Reel Food and the Bronze STARS achievement. “I am both proud and excited that Durham College has been chosen as a sustainability leader this early in our sustainable journey. I look forward to representing Durham College at this event,” said Webb.
