Dental Anatomy and Charting

The information presented in this course will introduce the student to various structures in the oral cavity including both the hard and soft tissues, as well as the correct dental terminology associated with these landmarks. This subject also addresses the charting/recording of conditions identified by the dentist, and accurate documentation of dentition using corresponding numbering systems.
