Professional Growth Issues

This course builds on the core fundamental concepts examined in PSWF 1500 and the role of the PSW as a member of the health care team. Topics explored will include conflict resolution, role of the PSW, therapeutic relationships, scope of practice, abuse, communication, professionalism, ethical issues, culture, and advocacy. This course also prepares the student to be job-ready with capstone portfolio assignment and comprehensive test.
