This course is designed to develop Computer Aided Design (CAD) skills using Autodesk Inventor. It is a hands-on, practice-intensive course which covers the concepts of 3D parametric design. This includes an introduction to 3D modeling with parametric sketches and features, 2D sketching techniques, projects, work features, feature duplication techniques, creating assemblies and assembly constraints, using standard and library components, creating drawings and drawing annotations. Files created in this course are managed using the Autodesk Vault Product Data Management (PDM) system.
