Measurement I

This course makes a study of the theory and applications of various measuring devices and how they are applied to industrial quality assurance. The main topics are: definitions and standards, principles of measuring instruments and instrument selection, interferometry, measurement error, magnification systems, angle measurement, and principles and operation of coordinate measuring machines. The theory is supplemented by laboratory work.
