Animal Handling & Restraint

This course introduces the student to the appropriate handling and restraint techniques commonly utilized in an animal care environment. Health and safety for both the animal and the handler will be emphasized. Responsible companion animal ownership and how to handle aggressive dogs and cats will be discussed and demonstrated.
