Applied Mathematics for Architecture

Students develop problem solving skills related to the principles of forces and equilibrium and strength of materials. Students will apply these skills to solve statics problems and will analyze stress and strain. Basic mathematical operations involving systems of linear equations in two and three unknowns, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions as well as analytic geometry are included in the study.
