Applied Mathematics For Architecture
Students develop problem solving skills related to the principles of forces and equilibrium and strength of materials. Students will sketch and calculate problems relating to shear force and bending moments. They solve problems regarding vector forces, stress and acceleration. Basic mathematic operations involving quadratic equations; systems of linear equations in two and three unknowns; trigonometric functions; exponents and radicals; exponents and logarithms; and analytical geometry are included in the study.
