Anatomy & Physiology I

Anatomy and Physiology I examines the normal structure and function of the human body. This is a hybrid course, so some of the learning will take place in an online environment, and some will be in a classroom. The course begins with an orientation to the human body, the levels of organization within the body and a look at the inter-related and interdependent nature of the human organ systems. The concepts of metabolism, physiological needs and homeostasis are introduced. All foundational knowledge is then applied to the study of the integumentary, skeletal, muscle and nervous systems.
