Customer service is a course that emphasizes the interaction between the biomedical technologist and the many health professionals that they interact with daily. Customer service relates to purchase, installation, implementation, maintenance, repair, risk issues, and many other aspects of equipment support, which must be clearly communicated to many different professionals at the same time, as well as properly documented for future reference. The course also covers the attitude and soft skills necessary to be a positive member of a health care team.
