Capstone Event

Students continue their planning and, in this course, complete the execution of their Capstone event. This course is designed to allow students to demonstrate the skills and abilities that they have developed over the entirety of the Special Events Management program. Teamwork, project management, oral and written communications, planning and executing, human resources and supervisory skills, customer service, marketing and financial management, as well as many other disciplines are key to the student team being successful in the execution of the event. Completion of the project-related tasks teaches students essential organizational, communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
