Catering And Banquet Services

This course explores the fine details of event planning aspects including event objectives, food & beverage room layouts, tablescapes, menus, price plans, styles of service, and after-service as well as the details included in typical proposals, contracts, terms & conditions and BEOs. Students work in a team, performing efficiently and effectively, while completing the pre-work on their Capstone event by creating budgets, critical paths, marketing media, sponsorship strategy and goals, procurement plans, risk management, event programme, site selection,after service, and evaluation.
