Mathematics For Civil Engineering II

Students develop problem solving skills by applying topics of study to related practical problems. Topics of study include: review of algebra, advanced geometry; trigonometry and trigonometric functions; differentiation and integration; polar coordinates; logarithms; errors and variation. Students apply an understanding of Microsoft Excel for graphing a variety of functions, and to solve more advanced mathematical problems in an engineering context.
