Geographical Information Systems

This course is an introduction to the Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Topics include basic geographic data such as location, coordinate systems, and thematic mapping. Students will learn use in GIS software in creating geographic data, quarry and manipulate data and analyze spatial and tabular data.
