Design Studio I

Students are introduced to the creative processes required to develop an individualized design aesthetic. They are taught how to apply this aesthetic to the creation of interactive media design projects. This course covers the relationship between image, type and text, the use of metaphor in visual communications, and focuses on refining concepts into visual elements to be used in a variety of interfaces and interactive layouts.
