Advanced Spreadsheet Applications For SCM
In this second level course, students will build off their knowledge and use advanced features of Microsoft Excel. Students will gain the skills necessary to create, format and edit professional worksheets and workbooks using: tables, pivot tables/charts, advanced functions, audit tools, data analysis tools, and macros. Students will cultivate their skills in spreadsheet applications in order to develop comprehensive solutions to business problems; and utilize tools of spreadsheets to enable business leaders to make comprehensive and informed decisions. Students will have an opportunity to attempt the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel- Associate Exam in an effort to obtain Microsoft Office Specialist Certification (a globally recognized credential). Students will continue to develop their advanced and comprehensive Excel skills and work towards a broad understanding of the content included in the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Expert Exam. MOS exams must be proctored; therefore students will be provided the exam date/time early in the semester so that they can arrange their schedules accordingly.
