Event Programming & Design

Students learn about the programming elements for corporate events, conferences, festivals, weddings, galas and sporting events. Principles behind planning, organizing and implementing these programs are introduced. By examining a variety of event types and approaches, students will have the opportunity to discover the unique components required including: delivery methods, themes, speakers and entertainment selection, attendee participation, site selection and event agenda. Students will also be introduced to event technology and apps that are used to enhance event management and the event experience.
