Fabrication Studio II

This course explores the practices of sculpture and installation within a social, cultural, and personal context. Site-specific work and artistic intervention have challenged traditional 3D art structures by exploring how context and situation can expand the audience for art and change the role of the viewer. This studio course will address questions of context in traditional and contemporary sculpture and start to explore installation-based practices through a combination of projects and discussions.
