Restaurant And Beverage Operations

This course will introduce students to how restaurants operate, including bar service. Students will examine various types of restaurants, menus, guest profiles and how decisions on location, labour and equipment impact profit. As well, students will have the opportunity to practise restaurant service duties and responsibilities. A comprehensive simulation is included in the course so students can experiment with making decisions of an owner.
