Field Placement I & Seminar

This course consists of 221 hours field placement and 14 hours of field placement seminar. Field placement I & Seminar allows students the opportunity to begin the process of integrating Social Services Worker theory into practice. The student is required to complete the assigned hours of field work in a community setting which provides direct client service. The seminar portion of the course is a mandatory 1hour timetabled class in the program. In seminar class, the student will havethe opportunity to discuss issues pertaining to field placement.
