Introduction to Databases

Students are introduced to relational databases and structured query language (SQL) at an introductory level. Emphasis is placed on the basics of database environments, relational theory, working with database requirements, and creating effective queries. Students review, create, and utilize documentation effectively in order to produce a variety of relational database artifacts including standardized documentation and query solutions designed to meet client needs.
