Linux 2

In this course students are exposed to advanced Linux operating system setup, administration, and maintenance. Students will learn how to configure storage devices, create partitions, logical volumes and disk quotas, as well as how to manage bootloaders, users and processes. Additionally, topics include runlevels and targets as well as shell scripting and scheduling. With the rise of market share of Linux in the PC business world and the prevalence of UNIX based legacy systems students must learn to deploy, support and secure these systems in a business environment.
