ELEC Installation Methods I

This course is designed to introduce the student to Installation Methods and Standard Trade Practices used in the Electrical Industry for the installation of electrical equipment. All installations must meet the requirements of the rules and regulations found in the Canadian Electrical Code, along with the requirements of the National Building Code.This course will include studies in the proper use, selection and maintenance of various type of hand tools and equipment. This course will also discuss the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it pertains to construction projects as well as Personal Protective Equipment.
