This course introduces basic real estate concepts and administrative functions, providing students with a detailed overview of the real estate transaction, from the initial steps through to the final sale. Topics that will be explored include forms of ownership, client/salesperson relationships, types of representation, and an in‐depth review of commonly used real estate contracts and their legal requirements. Furthermore, this course will also cover ethical requirements for administrative staff regarding release of information, handling confidential documents, drafting agreements, and deposit‐handling procedures.
