In this course students will consider job related physical preparedness for the career firefighter. Fitness labs will emphasis cardiovascular health as students begin training as tactical athletes preparing for BFOR fitness evaluations they will face. Wellness topics reflected on will include back health, nutrition basics, cancer concerns, sleep health, stress and time management, and mental wellness as students begin to develop their own resilience plan.
