Applied Behaviour Analysis: Elements and Systems Of Behaviour Change

This course will examine specialized practical applications of behavioral concepts and principles with the aim of generating and increasing socially desirable behavior across a variety of instructional settings. Students will gain the ability to use a range of evidence-based techniques. Students will design and carry out procedures including, but not limited to, incidental teaching, discrete trial training, token economies, self-management strategies, precision teaching, personalized systems of instruction, functional communication training, and augmentative communication systems.
