The purpose of this course is to provide students with both preparatory in-class instruction and hands-on experience in the field of applied behaviour analysis. Students will have the opportunity to practice the application of professional and clinical skills. Students will integrate classroom instruction and fieldwork experience in conducting measurement and observation, determining client preferences, conducting behavioural assessments, developing task analyses and skill acquisition plans, and collecting data to ensure the validity of measurement systems and procedural integrity data. Students will also be responsible for creating visual displays and communicating the results. The experience will be overseen by both an academic and on-site and supervisor.
