Special Extinguishing Systems

Students focus on the study of alternatives to water-based fire suppression utilized in environments where water may not be suitable as a primary suppression agent. Students analyze the principles and effectiveness of suppression agents (foams, clean agents, inert gasses and dry powder) for various hazards.
