Office Professionalism 1

This hybrid course introduces students to the concepts of professionalism, professional standards and a code of ethics and how they apply to the workplace. With the mission and values of an organization in mind, students will learn to use interpersonal skills to communicate in a professional manner, respond professionally to conflict, and contribute effectively as an individual and team member to the productivity of the workplace. Through case studies, discussions, and self-reflection, students will explore, discuss and review ‘best practices' regarding professional ethics and behaviour, confidentiality, quality customer service approaches and effective team work strategies and presentation skills.
