Acquired Brain Injury

Nearly half a million Ontarians are living with a brain injury. Just as causes vary widely (from sports injuries, accidental slips and falls, to service in the armed forces), so does the impact on individual functioning. While not all individuals will require the same level of treatment, there exist a number of assessment and treatment options from a variety of fields. The understanding of behavioural, neurological, and societal factors that influence brain injury incidence and treatment will be highlighted
