Building on the descriptive statistical principles covered in Statistics I, this course gives the student a solid foundation in inferential statistics. The topics covered include one and two sample hypothesis tests of means and proportions, analysis of variance, linear regression and correlation, and chi-square tests of independence and goodness-of-fit. The course makes extensive use of the statistical capabilities of Excel.
