This course will introduce students to a wide variety of essential skills practiced in the normal day-to-day activities and responsibilities of a typical Industrial Mechanic (Millwright). Topics include safety, hand and power tools, hydraulics, pneumatics, rigging and hoisting, alignment and leveling, pumps, print reading and power transmission components including bearings, belt, chain and gear drives.
